1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that a website may store on a visitor’s device through the browser. We apply the same transparency principles to comparable storage technologies.
2. Cookies currently used
The current LAWTER website theme does not enable analytics, social-media or marketing tracking. The lawter_consent_v1 cookie is used only to remember that the visitor has seen the cookie information and the selected settings state. It lasts for up to 180 days, uses SameSite=Lax and is marked Secure when the site is served over HTTPS.
3. Necessary cookies
No separate consent is requested for cookies strictly necessary to operate the website or remember a setting requested by the user. This includes the cookie-preference record and technical cookies WordPress may use in authenticated administrator sessions.
4. Analytics and marketing
Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and other analytics/marketing trackers are not currently enabled. If such a service is introduced later, it must only be activated after appropriate prior information and, where required, consent; this notice must also be updated.
5. Changing settings
You can reopen the settings panel at any time using the “Cookie settings” button. Cookies can also be deleted or blocked through your browser settings.
